Join us in strengthening your audition technique and specificity for self-taped as well as in-person auditions. Here we will be experimental - working to craft strong, creative, and individualized audition packages. Actors should have a 32 bar cut (and its accompaniment/backing track) or 1-2 minute monologue prepared to workshop in a mock audition setting, in which participants will perform their piece, play through the text/song with Rachel, and leave having made bold choices and new discoveries.

Learn how to produce a linear short-form podcast with added AI-generated voiceovers and sound effects, and do so ethically.

This workshop will cover ethical concerns with AI-generated content, including the journalistic versus dramaturgical style, copyright issues, and adding some AI generated content to your production. Attendees can experiment with: scripting a short-form podcast; recording and generating voiceovers and sound effects; editing and mixing the audio content; and learning how to ethically produce a podcast.

Come experience several of Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed games for ensemble-building and exploring spatial structures of power. The interactive exercises covered in this workshop are for teachers and students of all levels, and serve to break down barriers in the classroom and rehearsal space while highlighting all voices and lived experiences in the artistic process.
